LEAD Original Sweatpants

Original sweatpants from LEAD, a famous vintage clothing store in Hiroshima Prefecture.

These are made-to-order and hard to find.

The following is quoted from the store's Instagram introduction:

We are taking pre-orders for sweatpants as an original item from @lead_hiroshima, which were made in secret and were very popular.

I've been looking for sweatpants with belt loops, but I couldn't find any, so I decided to make my own.

I didn't like how the silhouette would be ruined when putting things in the pockets of soft sweatpants, so I used a tough 14oz Los Angeles Apparel body.

I wanted to wear them like work pants or slacks, so I removed the ribbed cuffs and hemmed them with a 29-inch (73.5cm) inseam.

Since the silhouette is a straight fit, the hem looked slightly flared when altered, so we pinched the hem by 1cm to create a clean, straight silhouette.

By using the same material as the body for the belt loops, it is compatible with wallet chains and key rings. I think it's also good to show off your belt when tucking in your shirt. Of course, the inner drawcord remains, so you can also wear them as easy pants.

The size is one size fits all, but it's cute for women to wear them loosely by tightening them. We made them in a size that fits many people.

The shape, fabric, and details are all perfect for the ideal sweatpants.
